CEE Kerala operates a strict single-window algorithmic system. Understanding these four golden rules will prevent accidental seat cancellation and permanent disqualification.

Rule 1: Irreversible Deletion of Lower Options

When CEE allots a seat at your Option #N, all lower priority options from N+1 to the end are permanently and irreversibly deleted from your profile!

You can NEVER reclaim or request any option lower in serial number than your current allotment.
Never insert filler or unwanted college-branch choices below good ones just to have options.
Only options 1 through N-1 remain alive for subsequent allotment phases.

Rule 2: Token Fee Remittance is Mandatory

Seat Protection

Allotment alone does NOT hold a seat. You MUST remit the prescribed token fee to CEE Kerala online or via designated post offices before the deadline.

Failure to pay fee before the deadline cancels the allotted seat immediately.
Disaster warning: Unpaid candidates lose ALL remaining options and are booted from further regular CAP rounds!
Once paid, the fee is adjusted against your college tuition fee at admission.

If you remit the token fee in Phase 1, you can choose to retain your higher preferences (1 to N-1) for Phase 2.
