The NTA Percentile Score is calculated within each subject and shift using:

Percentile = (100 × N≤) / N_total
  • N≤: Number of candidates who scored equal to or less than the candidate in that specific subject/shift.
  • N_total: Total number of candidates who appeared in that specific subject/shift.
  • Multi-Shift Normalization: Raw marks within each shift are normalised to ensure fairness before final percentile computation.
  • Subject-wise Percentile: Each subject (General Test, Language, Domain) has its own separate percentile score used by universities.

CUET UG 2026 Exam Pattern & Marking Scheme

CUET UG 2026 is conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) by NTA. The exam is divided into three sections: Language Test (Section IA/IB), Domain-Specific Subjects (Section II), and General Test (Section III):
